Taylor Phillips, EdS, LPES

Taylor Phillips is a South Carolina Licensed Psychoeducational Specialist and South Carolina Board of Education Certified School Psychologist Level II. She earned her BA in Psychology, with a minor in Human Development & Family Sciences from Bowling Green State University. Ms. Phillips then attended The University of Toledo: College of Health and Human Services Graduate Studies Program where she earned her Educational Specialist degree and Masters in School Psychology.

Ms. Phillips has over 8 years of experience working within the educational setting, including serving as a school psychologist in Ohio and South Carolina. Prior to graduate school, she completed an internship within the clinical psychology setting as well. Ms. Phillips currently provides comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and academic coaching within the private practice setting, in addition to providing school psychology services to local SC charter schools. She enjoys working as a part of the multidisciplinary evaluation team within the schools to determine the educational needs of students and eligibility for special education services. Within the private setting, Ms. Phillips works with children, adolescents, and their families to provide a variety of educational and social-emotional supports.

Areas of interest and expertise include learning differences among children and adolescents, academic and behavioral/emotional interventions, executive functioning/academic coaching, ADHD, anxiety, and comprehensive evaluations including intellectual ability, academic achievement, social emotional functioning, and recommendations/service coordination in schools. When she is not working, Ms. Phillips enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and two pets, gardening, baking, and going to the beach.
