Erin Scherder, EdS, NCSP, CBIS
Erin Scherder is passionate about advocating for children and their families. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from the College of Charleston in Psychology. She further pursued her education at The Citadel Graduate College earning a Master’s degree in Psychology and an Education Specialist degree in School Psychology.
While attending The Citadel, Erin obtained a Certified Brain Injury Specialist degree from the Academy of Brain Injury Specialists. Erin presented research at two conferences and providing information on the topic of brain injury in children to a group of upcoming educators. She worked at the Medical University of South Carolina as a psychometrist and completed her School Psychology internship with Charleston County School District. During her internship Erin received the Aline Mahan award for academic excellence and fierce advocacy for children.
Erin lives on James Island with her husband and many pets. In her free time she enjoys practicing yoga, reading, and spending time with her family.
